Welcome to my Writing Strategy and Services page. Unlike a lot of my competitors, I’m not just a ‘writer.’ Sure, I write resumes, cover letters, thank you letters, LinkedIn profiles and more. Yet I’m really a career marketing expert – and a resume (and all associated content) is marketing, is it not? So before any writing begins, there must be a realistic strategy because if the telephone isn’t ringing requesting interviews, that’s unsuccessful marketing, which is not why you hired me!

How I Work – And My Rates

Here’s what you can expect from me: a resume and cover letter that gets you interviews – or your money back! How the guarantee works: Apply to a minimum of 30 jobs you’re qualified for, and if no one contacts you for an interview, I’ll refund your money. P.S: I’ve never had to do this because I get results!

I’ll complete your documents quickly, usually within 72 hours. If you have an urgent need, please call me immediately at 858-531-7128 to get started. Here’s the process:

Step 1 – Select The Service(s) You Need: Choose the writing service(s) you need (see below) – or call me for a free, 10-minute consultation at 858-531-7128 and we can talk before you buy.

Step 2 – Strategy Session: Prior to any writing, we’ll schedule a telephone appointment to speak on the telephone and have a strategy session. This is a vitally important step of the service that separates me from a lot of other resume writers (many of whom are not career coaches). You will find some resume writers won't offer telephone service and instead have you "fill out a form" to collect content. This is counter productive. Aren't they supposed to be working for you? I offer personalized service. We’ll discuss your objective and I’ll collect the content I need to achieve your goals and write the initial draft(s). If you don’t know the job or career you wish to target, we’ll need to figure that out first before determining a strategy. Visit my Career Choice page to learn more.

Step 3 – First Draft(s) Review: Within 24 hours of the strategy session, we’ll have another telephone appointment in which I’ll explain to you why I composed what I wrote in any draft(s) and I’ll gather your feedback, including any edits.

Step 4 – Work to Finalize: If necessary, we’ll schedule another telephone appointment, but usually your documents will be near final stage and I’ll email them to you in Microsoft Word upon final payment.
